Hibernian have agreed an eye-catching new sponsorship deal with male ‘below the waist ‘ grooming brand Manscaped.
The American firm, who advertise themselves as “the first and leading brand dedicated to men’s grooming and hygiene below-the-waist” will have their logo displayed around Easter Road on matchdays, starting with Sunday’s draw at home to Rangers.
According to their website, Manscaped aims to tackle “the needs of what has, for too long, been a sensitive and often taboo subject”.
In a press release, Manscaped added: “Hibernian’s next home game on October 2nd versus Hamilton will be the next highly visual display of the partnership.”
The club posted the announcement on Twitter, leading dozens of supporters to add their own comments.
However, fans hoping for a new Brazilian signing were left slightly underwhelmed when the club unveiled the new partnership.
The Easter Road side gave up the front of their strip to a corporate logo, instead using the traditional area to display the message ‘Thank You NHS’ in support of key workers giving their lives to treating those affected by the coronavirus pandemic.
Manscaped already have partnerships with American football team the San Francisco 49ers, ice hockey’s Los Angeles Kings and Australian rugby outfit Sydney Roosters, alongside the UFC and Nascar.
The company also signed a deal with English side Wolverhampton Wanderers, however the Hibees become their first Scottish partner.
Hibs commercial manager Murray Milligen said: “We’re delighted to add Manscaped to our growing partnership family. As a club, it’s our first male grooming partnership, and it’s great to work with such an ambitious company with a global outlook. We look forward to helping them grow their presence in the UK.

“Sport is an integral part of the Manscaped marketing strategy, with them already working with global sporting brands, so I’m honoured they’ve chosen Hibernian as the first club to work with here in Scotland. It’s testament to our appeal as a club.”
Fans were quick to react to the news on Twitter, with many taking the opportunity to post some…creative puns.
