Since its introduction in the early 1960s, the pop-top aluminum can has become the universal standard in the beverage industry, with the cylindrical container offering ample strength and structural integrity relative to its weight and hugely minimizing void packing space in the shipping process. Well aware of the can’s ubiquitous use, YETI has taken the traditional aluminum vessel and bestowed it with the thermal retention properties of its industry-leading vacuum-sealed bottles to create the Rambler Colster Can Insulators.
Apply described by the Austin-based outfit as a “personal cooler for your can,” the Colster Can Insulator is made from thick-gauge 18/8 stainless steel and features a double-walled construction that shields the can’s contents from external heat. The use of YETI’s NO SWEAT™ design also mitigates external condensation and helps to keep hands dry. Markedly more effective and sustainable than foam drink koozies, the dent-resistant and dishwasher-safe Colster is produced in 12oz and 16oz sizes, as well as a Slim 12oz variant that accommodates Red Bull and White Claw-style cans. In addition to being manufactured in up to eight different crack and chip-free DURACOAT™ COLOR options, the Colster can also be customized on YETI’s website with text, monograms, official MLB team logos, a library of designs, or custom-uploaded logos. Available now, the YETI Rambler Colster Can Insulators are priced at $25 for the 12oz sizes and $30 for the 16oz version, with an extra $5 to $10 for custom options.
